The "Classic Exclusiv Trekking" by CONTEC is a stylish and durable real leather saddle for frequent riders and lovers of all things vintage. With a sleek classic look, the saddle, designed for trekking, fits very well with retro and lifestyle bicycles.

But this timeless leather saddle is also a good choice for older bikes, where the saddle has to be replaced. The upper is made of smooth leather. This durable leather needs a certain break-in time. After the required break-in kilometres, leather saddles are known for high seating comfort.

On this CONTEC saddle without a plain seatpost clamp, 2 springs were installed. This increases riding comfort when the path leads over paved or poorly maintained roads as well as bumpy forest and field paths. As a result, when riding through potholes and on uneven roadways, less impacts get through to the spinal discs. In addition, the springs provide good pressure relief when the weight is shifted toward the saddle in a relaxed and upright seating position on tours.

The leather saddle with a weight of 912 g and a durable CrMo steel frame is suitable for mounting on modern seatposts. The size of the saddle ensures good seating comfort with a length of 280 mm and a width of 170 mm.
