The brake pads wear out quickly, especially in downhill riding or freeriding, where things really get down to business and the rider brakes particularly hard and aggressively in corners. At the latest when there is less than a millimeter of pad left, a replacement is needed quickly. But even in everyday use, everyone should make sure that there is always enough brake pads available. "DiscStop+" reliably fulfills its purpose and makes a considerable contribution to safety.

The brake pads are available in many different specifications. It is important to choose between organic pads and sintered models. The big advantage of an organic disc brake pad is that it develops its full performance even at low temperatures. They are therefore ideal for all-weather use. In contrast, brake pads made of sintered metal only reach their full performance at high temperatures. The "DiscStop+" with organic Pads heats up less and does not squeal in damp conditions. If the pad is sintered, however, there is the advantage of a longer service life.
