Make your bike better

The Pro Workshop

Are you a passionate two-wheel tinkerer or a trained mechatronics engineer? Then this page is your pot of gold. Here you will find an overview of our range of spare and wear parts as well as our special tools for more demanding work on your bike.

Many of our spare and wear parts are also available in a practical tool box with more content and therefore less packaging. You won't find these on our website, but in our B2B shop for bike dealers. If you are a dealer and/or bike workshop owner and would like to find out more, you are welcome to get in touch with us using the contact form linked here.

Special tools

Some projects on the bike require a lot of strength and some require more dexterity - in order to support you as best we can with both and to meet the new standards, we expand our range every year with tools that are of high quality and easy to use.

CONTEC Adhubter

The CONTEC Adhubter Front is a conversion kit that allows you to convert a front hub with a standard installation width of 100mm to a boosted front hub with a larger installation width of 110mm. With the CONTEC Adhubter Rear, a rear hub with a standard installation width of 142mm becomes a boost rear hub with a larger installation width of 148mm.

Tools for Professionals

With our TFP tool line, we cater for ambitious occasional and professional mechanics. Here you will find special tools for almost every purpose: tools for pedals, bottom brackets, sprockets, hubs and so on. The number in the name categorises the tools according to their intended use.

Spare and wear parts

Wear and tear - completely natural, but always annoying when it occurs. Almost all bike components succumb to it. Factors such as weather conditions, frequency of use and maintenance influence the time of occurrence, but cannot prevent it. In our range you will find a suitable spare part for almost every worn one.

Shifting

A new derailleur cable speeds up gear changes enormously and prevents you from getting annoyed over a slipping chain or missing gear changes. In our range, we offer derailleur cables in different quality levels so that you can find everything you need.

SHIFT derailleur cables made of galvanised and pre-greased steel are the backbone of our range. Ideal if you are looking for a cost-effective and robust replacement for your derailleur.

SHIFT+ offers more performance thanks to corrosion-resistant stainless steel - ideal for daily use in all conditions thanks to the anti-rust properties.

SHIFT++ cables are made of ultra-smooth PTFE-coated steel, which ensures robustness and minimal frictional resistance for perfect shifting, even in race conditions.

CONTEC Disc Stop Selection

A buffet for every workshop: The CONTEC Disc Stop Selection is our spare parts box for disc brakes. Suitable for Avid/SRAM, Formula, Hayes, Magura or Shimano - in the box you will find the right individual parts for all common manufacturers. Contents: Cable nipples (pins), clamping rings (olives), union nuts, seals and more.

Bike chains

No propulsion without a chain - it is the core element of the drive. In addition, there are many demands on a chain that it must constantly withstand. These include wetness and mud as well as the frequency of use. Here you will find high quality chains for different areas of use - whether performance-optimised for the next race, robust for daily commuting or specially designed for heavier loads such as on an e-bike.

CONTEC Guide.O

Even the strongest chain needs a good guide: This is exactly where we come in with our Guide.O chain guides. They are available in a wide range to cover as many drive types as possible. Of course, some Guide.O models are also suitable for e-bikes.

Chain rings

Due to the immense motor torques and other forces acting on e-bikes, e-cargo bikes and even more so on e-MTBs, drive components and gears are regularly under stress. As a result, chain rings and sprockets are subject to natural wear. Especially when you add high mileage.

This is precisely why we regularly add new chain rings to our range of spare parts for drive components. At CONTEC, you will find high quality and durable materials, e-bike compatibility and a wide range of variants that cover the most common drive types.

CONTEC C.Drive DMS

The CONTEC C.Drive DMS (Direct Mount) chainring is made from high-quality, CNC-machined 7075 aluminum, making it exceptionally durable and lightweight. It is suitable for e-bikes with Bosch drives. The C.Drive DMS chainring fits a SRAM Boost chainline of 52mm and 12-speed drivetrains. Additionally, it features a narrow-wide tooth profile and a 3mm offset.

Bottom brackets

The force you apply when you step on the pedals is passed on to the bottom bracket. That means that this bearing deals with the most force out of any bearing on your bike. Reasons why you might need a new bottom bracket are natural wear and tear. From BSA to various square-tapered bearings to external bearings, you'll find what you're looking for.

Headsets

Headsets influence the steering behaviour of your bike. Does it work smoothly? Or is it rather sluggish? If you want to replace your headset, we'll make it easier for you to find the right one for your bike. All our headsets are named according to the SHIS standard and provide information on the diameter of the head tube and steerer tube to ensure it fits. Now you just have to choose between standard and ahead systems, semi-integrated, fully-integrated and tapered headsets. We explain the SHIS system in our guide.

Cassettes

The cassette is one of the main wearing parts on the bike - if you have to replace it, it is a correspondingly large expense. So when the time comes, it's worth choosing a particularly durable model.

Our Grad cassettes for bikes and e-bikes are made of particularly high-tensile steel and are therefore more durable than conventional aluminium models. The CONTEC Grad cassettes have different gradations in the number of teeth and have special climbing aids for the chain that make every gear change faster and smoother. Many of our cassettes are also available as workshop packs in sets of 4. We also have special change sets for the smallest sprockets in our range.
