Numb hands, back pain, tingling toes – all these are signs of an incorrect seating position on the bike. Often just a a few household tools and a couple turns are enough to provide you with relief: Doing this allows the saddle and handlebar height as well as angle to be adjusted easily. However, you get more adjustment options with components like our adjustable stem, "Tour Wing" grips with a generous support area and our dropper seatpost, which you can adjust in height at the touch of a button even when riding at full speed. Look around and try things out – because your bike needs to fit you, not the other way around.
Saddles
Explore, enjoy the view, be comfortable – on tours, speed and sporty riding are less important. Comfort is your priority – and that's where the saddle plays a big role. With springs or padded with gel, with pressure relief cut-out or rear recess, wide or narrow – the saddle selection is as individual as the cyclist sitting on it.
SADDLE "VOLARE TREKKING"
From sporty to upright – our "Volare Trekking" supports you with its 3-zone system no matter your posture is on the bike. The perfect saddle for your trekking tour.
Handlebars and grips
With the right grip-handlebar combination you can do anything! But you’ve got to find it first. You can do without tingling fingers or painful hands on long rides. The problem usually arises due to an incorrect alignment between the cockpit and the riding position. For example, if the handlebars are too straight and the grips too round, nerve tracts get cut off and blood flow is disturbed. Handlebars with backsweep and grips with a larger contact area can help. Again, try it out!
GRIPS "TOUR WING DLX"
D3-triple density grip optimized for trekking, with large wing design, prevents the wrists from bending. With CONTEC G-Link, your grips become a visual and functional unit, for a more integrated look and improved ergonomics.
Seatposts
Get on the bike comfortably and without contouring yourself, and set both feet on the ground at a red light – all thanks to dropper seatposts. No back and buttocks pain when riding over cobblestones or curbs – all thanks to suspension seatposts. Do you have a long upper body and prefer a stretched sitting position? Then take a look at our seatposts with offset to the back. Your needs – your seatpost.
DROPPER POST "NARA DROPAIR DLX"
The "Nara Drop Air DLX" as a dropper-suspension seatpost combines the security of a dropper post with the comfort of air suspension.
Moisture, dirt and many kilometres will sooner or later cause wear and tear on your trekking bike’s components. But you don't have to go to the workshop for every little thing. With a little patience and know-how, you can easily replace some parts yourself: From chains to brake pads to individual sprockets and shift cables, we have everything you need. Also practical: Our tools and various multi-tools can help you get your bike back on track.
Chains
The chain is the heart of your bike’s drivetrain and is subject to constant forces. If moisture and dirt are added – which is always the case on any ride – the strain increases. Therefore, the chain is one of the spare parts that you should always have with you. We have everything in our portfolio, from singlespeed to 11-speed, to special e-bike and heavy duty chains.
CHAIN "ENHANCED DRIVE ED.11+"
The CONTEC chain "eNHANCED Drive eD.11+" is particularly suitable for e-bikes. It also shows no weaknesses under the increased drive forces from the high-performance BOSCH middle motor.
Brake pads
Worn brake pads affect braking power and are therefore no longer reliable. To ensure that you are always safe on the roads or in the forest, we have pads with suitable rubber compounds for different types of brakes. These include hydraulic disc and rim brakes, cantilever and V-brakes.
DISC BRAKE PAD "DISCSTOP+"
Reliable braking power is provided by our "DiscStop+" brake pads. They are made of different materials and are suitable for disc brakes from Shimano, Tektro & others.
